SMO has a mission to fulfill as reflected in the word EDICTS: E - evangelize, D- disciple, I – instruct C - channel to the local Church T- train to become the next generation of Leaders, Workers, Pastors and S – send them to the mission fields.
Our staff and bible school students are already planting crops like bananas, cacao, fruit trees, vegetables, and herbal plants. We are also raising farm animals like goats, and hogs. We also welcome Churches and other Christian organizations to use our facility for Camps & Conferences. However, the demand for a continuous and consistent water supply for the needs of our livestock, crops, and the people living and renting our property is a must. At present, we are just tapping the Community’s water line which has a limited supply to provide water for the needs of the whole residents in the Community. As a result, the yield of our crops, and our income generating projects had been very much affected and had suffered loss in the past years. We could have gained through our crops if the water supply is abundant.
SMO would like to maximize the property provided by God through the DIFS (Diversified Integrated Farming System), to help support our teachers, staff, and Bible School students financially for their food expenses and studies at our Bible School. Thus, if water supply is steady and consistent, the ministry will become self-sustaining. Through our fund raising campaign for a water drill and submersible pump run by solar energy, we can yield more harvests from our crops and livelihood project and as a result, accept more bible school students who are called by God to study and be trained in our Bible School facility.
